Most small businesses have a website they are quietly embarrassed by, and an email setup nobody has looked at since the day it was switched on. Both are fixable.
Why Studio145
01
Static-first builds served from Cloudflare's edge. No plugin sprawl, no three-second wait before anyone sees your name.
02
SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up properly, so your quotes and invoices land in the inbox instead of the spam folder.
03
Your domain, your DNS, your hosting, your content, all in accounts with your name on them. Nothing held hostage.
04
You brief the person who does the work. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a subcontractor.
Services
Marketing sites, landing pages and full rebuilds. Designed around what you actually need people to do when they land: call, book, buy or get in touch. Then built to load fast and read well on a phone.
Email on your own domain, set up so it actually gets delivered. Migrations are done with the old mailbox still running, so nothing goes missing on the way across.
The plumbing nobody thinks about until it breaks. Registration, DNS moves, certificates and caching: planned first, cut over during a quiet hour, verified afterwards.
Launch day is not the last day. Updates, backups and monitoring, plus a person to email when you need a price changed or a page added.
Making an existing site quicker and easier to find. Measured before and after, so you can see what changed rather than take it on faith.
The standard
0
Lighthouse target
Performance, accessibility and best practices are checked before launch, not after someone complains.
0
Records that decide it
SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Get these wrong and your mail quietly goes to spam. Most small businesses have at least one missing.
0
Platform lock-in
Every account is opened in your name. If you ever want to leave, you can, and you take everything with you.
0 day
Reply time
One business day on support requests, Monday to Friday. Usually a good deal sooner than that.
Straight answer
There is always somewhere cheaper. A template, a marketplace, a nephew with a weekend free. If price is the only thing that matters, take one of those. Genuinely, no hard feelings.
What you get here instead is a site that loads in under a second, email that reaches the inbox, and DNS that has been thought about rather than guessed at. That is worth paying for precisely when your website is doing real work: taking bookings, quoting jobs, being the first thing a customer checks before they call.
If it is not doing real work yet, say so on the call. Sometimes the honest answer is a smaller job than the one you came in asking for.
Process
STEP 01
A call, then a written plan: what is being built, what it costs, and when it lands. Agreed before any work starts, so there are no surprises halfway through.
STEP 02
Layouts and type built in the browser, not just a flat picture of a website. You see the real thing, on your own phone, early enough to change it.
STEP 03
Clean, fast, accessible markup. Tested on real devices and real connections rather than a resized desktop window on fibre.
STEP 04
DNS cut over carefully, email verified end to end, monitoring switched on. Then you have someone to call when something needs changing.
Questions
A focused marketing site is usually two to four weeks from the go-ahead, and most of that is waiting on content and feedback rather than build time. Bigger jobs get a dated schedule in the scope so you can hold it to something.
No. The domain can stay exactly where it is registered. Usually only the DNS records need updating. If moving it would genuinely save you money or trouble, that gets explained rather than just done.
It should not. Mailboxes are copied across while the old ones are still receiving, record time-to-live values are lowered ahead of the cutover, and the switch happens outside your working hours. Delivery is then tested from outside before anything is called done.
Yes, if you want to. Sites can be built on a CMS so you can change text, prices and images yourself, and you get shown how. If you would rather just email the changes over, that works too.
Yes. The studio is based in LaGrange, Indiana, and the work happens over calls, email and shared links, so where you are makes no practical difference.
Sometimes not. Plenty of sites just need speed work, better copy and a proper email setup rather than a rebuild. Send the address over and you will get a straight opinion either way, before there is any quote attached to it.
Contact
Email or call. Either reaches me directly. A short description of the business and what is not working is enough to start with; you will get a straight answer about whether this is the right fit before anyone talks about money.
